The 31st Annual Texas State Disc Golf Championships! We are incredibly excited to welcome you to Victoria, TX, for this prestigious PDGA A-Tier event. For over three decades, this championship has been a cornerstone of the Texas disc golf scene, crowning legends and showcasing the very best talent in the Lone Star State. We can't wait to see you add your own chapter to that history as you attack the beautiful and challenging courses we have prepared for Mar 27–29, 2026!
We are absolutely excited, ready and downright honored to be carrying' the torch for the Texas State Disc Golf Championships as we roll the wagons into beautiful Victoria, Texas! We ain't forgetting' where we came from—we’re keeping' that fire burning' that the Houston Flying Disc Society lit over thirty years ago and the standard that Gorilla Disc golf has set. It’s our mission to tip our hats to those grand ol' traditions while we stay pedal-to-the-metal for the growth and progress of the sport we love. For this prestigious 31st anniversary, G.C.D.G.C., Onestar, MINT and many others has stepped up big time, to make sure we celebrate a whole generation of grit, heart, and commitment to the game and this event!

(in the case of ties, players may play-off, CTP or staff will assist with a random drawing to determine trophy recipients. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERING EXTRA TROPHIES).

PDGA 5.03 Preparing the Course / Practice Days: Official Practice Days: Wednesday, March 25th – Thursday, March 26th
*One (1) day prior to an A-Tier is the minimum PDGA requirement. For the Texas State Championships, for Riverside DGC and Fox's Bend DGC all TXSTDGC teeing areas and target locations for those holes will be clearly marked and targets will be available on the official practice days. TXSTDGC Temp targets will be set weekend prior to event. (Patriot Park DGC and Coleto DGC has no changes to format)
B) Tournament Format
During official practice days, (Wednesday, March 25th – Thursday, March 26th) the course(s) will be set in full tournament format. This means the course(s) will have:
All Out-of-Bounds (806.02), Hazard Areas (806.05), Mandatories (804.01), and Drop Zones properly marked and visible;
Official event tee signs in place at every hole;
All in-play branding assets (banners, flags, and sponsor signage) in place to reflect the actual tournament environment.
Mandatories & OB: Several hazard areas have been redefined to better accommodate the scale of an A-Tier event. These are clearly marked in the final guide and will be physically flagged during practice days.

PLAYER GUIDE / CADDY BOOK: (3/12/26)
PDGA 5.03 Compliance:
It is the event’s responsibility to provide, at minimum, a specific course rules sheet to every player so they can play the course correctly and as intended. For the Texas State Championships, the Tournament Director will provide these rules via the PDGA Digital Scorecard and a comprehensive digital Player Guide.
Official Versioning & Distribution Notice:
To ensure competitive integrity and clear communication, please note the following:
- The Final Word: While preliminary information may be shared for travel planning, the Official Player Guide will be distributed via email to all registered players once the courses are in their final tournament format.
- Avoid Confusion: We have noted in the past that early "draft" versions or multiple iterations found on social media have caused confusion regarding specific OB lines and mandatories.
- Rule of Record: Only the rules listed in the Final Version (stamped with the current year and final revision date) and the PDGA Digital Scorecard during your active round shall be considered official. our intention are to have one and only version distributed by 3/12/26 by 6pm
Practice with Purpose: Players are encouraged to refer only to the official guide during practice days (March 25th–26th) to ensure they are practicing the correct lines and rules as they will be enforced during the championships.

PDGA 1.05 - It is the sole responsibility of the player to know the course rules, be at their starting hole, and be ready to play in time for the start of their round.
COURSE WILL BE CLOSED DURING PLAY: FLY ZONE will be set up with nets and baskets and please review the pictures for warm up areas in each park.
CHECK IN: THERE IS NO NEED FOR EVENT CHECK-IN as you can grab your player pack anytime during the weekend however, PLEASE check in before ROUND with starting TD on your course AT LEAST 5 min before your tee-times.

CAMPING: (Thursday - Sunday)
The Golden Crescent Disc Golf Club obtained a camping permit for event participants therefore the ability to camp at riverside park DGC is a perk provided by the City and the Parks & Recreation at no charge. Please note the permit is primitive Tent camping so no water or electrical hook ups are available. We will leave the small Lions Club pavilion unlocked at night for water and place to hang for campers!
RV:
Due to limited space in the parking lot of HQ area we ask that R.V's utilize the Victoria RV Park (River Park) @ 2001 N Vine St, Victoria, TX 77901 (COST $12) with water & electric. (Only Authorized tournament staff, vendor RV's will be allowed at HQ area)
Option 2: Utilize the parking lot @ Rosebud stadium however no water available however there will some electrical hook up.

ROAD CLOSURES:
In efforts to reduce the amount of vehicles driving through the courses during the tournament we obtained permits to block some roads to the public!
-The Main roads into the courses and Head Quarters will not be effected
- FOX BEND - The one way road to FOX' Bend will be closed and locked! Please enter the back way by Riverside 12-13 by the restrooms. (See Pictures)
- Riverside - The one way road that drives by 7-11 will be closed during open play.
