About this tournament
The 2nd installment of the University of TEXAS (late) Summer Open is a PDGA C-Tier Tournament & Fundraiser presented by OneStar Disc Golf, The University of Texas Disc Golf Team and powered by Prodigy DISC! With Support from Golden Crescent disc golf club.
This event will raise funds to help defray expenses to send the University of Texas College Disc Golf Team to the College Disc Golf Championship 2023 a PDGA MAJOR! So Wear your UT gear and let that burnt orange fly!
This one day tournament will take place Saturday Oct 22nd 2022 with an added $100 by OneStar disc Golf.

FA1,FA2,FA3, MA50, MA2, MA3, - SHORTS (both rounds)
ALL PRO Divisions & MA1-MA40 - LONGS (both rounds)

● Round 2 (20holes) - Will start 1 hour after last card is in on R1 - CTP Hole 10

• All Pro Divisions, MA1, MA40 – Longs Round 1 & 2 - PAR 65
• MA50,60,MA2,MA3,FA3,JR – Shorts (4,9,14,16,18) Round 1 & 2 PAR 63
20 Holes each round (9A,14A)
PLAYERS MEETING: Virtual Players meeting prior to event will be emailed. Players meeting will also be transcribed on Facebook, DG Scene and back of map at event.

Raffle: Will be having a raffle that benefits the University of Texas Disc Golf Team get to the College Nationals! so bring your dollars to help!
CTP (Closes To the PIN contest) We will have CTP's throughout the event for some great packages! We are looking for a sponsor of the CTP's so if you are interested please reach out and let us help you advertise!
General Course Rules:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.
*The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!
● Road and beyond is OB (starting at curb if existing)
● Fence and beyond is OB
● Water in Ditch is OB – (A disc is out-of-bounds if its position is clearly and surrounded by water)
● Sidewalks are not OB
Hole Specific Rules:
● Hole 9a - Bridge hole.
○ Double MANDO through both side support beams that go up at end of Bridge (Marked).
○ If you miss Mando proceed to Drop ZONE! w/ one stroke penalty (804.01 Mandatory Routes)
○ If disc flies off the bridge prior to crossing the Double Mando the thrown disc is on the other side of the restricted space, the player has missed the mandatory. Proceed to Drop ZONE! w/ one stroke penalty.
○ If you land on any part of the bridge but are outside the safety railing, then take casual relief in towards the center of the bridge. The bridge itself is not in the restricted area or OB.

● Hole 12 - Island green, marked by paint/flags. Anything outside the painted island green is a HAZARD area. If you land in HAZARD AREA, play from your lie, and take a penalty stroke. 806.05 Hazard
